How It Works
Phonak Lumity has their new SmartSpeech™ Technology for improved speech understanding. SmartSpeech Technology is a unique collection of features, designed to deliver the benefits of improved speech understanding and reduced listening effort in various listening environments. With SpeechSensor, you will be able to hear conversation from all directions. StereoZoom 2.0 gives more focus to speech in challenging listening environments.
The Lumity also uses a ‘Tap Feature’ which alongside the motion sensors make phone calls on the move easier. The ‘Tap Feature’ allows the user to answer or reject calls, and pause or resume audio streaming, via Siri, Alexa or Google Assistant by simply double tapping on the outer ear.
Another advance from the Lumity is that it can connect with upto 8 Bluetooth devices to access and switch between whilst allowing two connections to be active at the same time as one another.
All of the Lumity hearing aids feature Roger technology, designed by Phonak to stream directly from their Roger microphones to Lumity hearing aids. Roger technology can continuously measures and analyses noise levels to keep the signal clear over background noise.
