The Phonak Virto Infinio offers users a sleek and discreet style hearing aid with the benefits of their Infinio technology. Alongside this style and discretion the Virto Infinio R allows for Bluetooth connectivity to most devices as well as Hands Free for phonecalls direct from iPhone or Android devices. 

Phonak Virto Infinio uses technology which adapts quickly and precisely to different soundscapes. This gives you a more natural hearing experience and takes away the need for switching between multiple manual programs. This reduces the brain and hearing effort you are likely to be suffering along with your hearing loss. 

The Virto Infinio Titanium uses a 0.2mm medical grade titanium shell, making it 50% thinner than the shells on their other custom hearing aids. Titanium is also 15 times stronger than acrylic; the material commonly used for hearing aids. In making the shell 50% thinner and using 60% smaller electronic parts the size of the hearing aid has been significantly reduced (26% compared to its predecessor). This has left Phonak with a super discreet hearing aid that gives you a much better fit too, as the hearing aid can fit further into your ear canal.

The rechargeable version is available for an extra £150 per aid.

The Infinio Sphere offers an amazing level of speech clarity from any direction. The combination of their new Era chip alongside their dedicated AI chip, DEEPSONIC,  filters out the unwanted noise that distract you from speech. The Infinio Sphere allows you to engage with friends, family members or colleagues even in the noisiest environments, offering an all around sound clarity and experience.

The DEEPSONIC (Deep Sound Optimized Neural Integrated Chip) is Phonak’s first dedicated AI chip. This chip expands the listening range from all directions to deliver unparalleled speech clarity. The DEEPSONIC chips has 53 times more processing power than previous technology and 7700M operations per second. This means you know you are getting the highest level of support from your hearing aids at all times, despite any surrounding noise.

The Infinio showcases their latest update; AutoSense OS 6.0. This is an intelligent automatic system that identifies your sound environment and makes smart adjustments to activate the best inbuilt features for you. 

The following inbuilt programs are automatically activated when the hearing aids detect their environment; Speech in Loud Noise, Music, Comfort in Noise, Speech in Noise, Calm Situation, Media speech + mic, Media music + mic.

Alongside this technology the hearing aids also offer a selection of program options for you to choose from, Tinnitus Therapy and Real Ear Sound. They also are able to connect with up to 8 Bluetooth devices, able to stream with two Bluetooth devices simultaneously, and have Tap Control, allowing you to activate Siri or Google Assistant at a single tap.

Phonak Lumity

Phonak Lumity has their new  SmartSpeech™ Technology for improved speech understanding. SmartSpeech Technology is a unique collection of features, designed to deliver the benefits of improved speech understanding and reduced listening effort in various listening environments. With SpeechSensor, you will be able to hear conversation from all directions. StereoZoom 2.0 gives more focus to speech in challenging listening environments.

Lumity provides connectivity to iPhone and Android devices and can connect with upto eight devices, whilst simultaneously being connected to two. 

The Lumity comes in three styles, the Audeo L-R, a rechargeable RIC, Audeo  L-RT, with added telecoil, and is also available in the new Audeo Life; a waterproof (up to 50cm) rechargeable hearing aid, Audéo Life comes with a robust new housing that provides additional protection from water and sweat. Please note the Audéo Life is available for an extra £150 per aid.

Phonak Paradise

The Paradise platform features the latest technological advances from Phonak; their PRISM processing chip and their fourth generation operating system. 

The Phonak Audeo Paradise’s fourth generation operating system, AutoSense OS 4.0, offers speech enhancement, motion sensors and dynamic noise cancellation assisted by Artificial Intelligence. 

PRISM (Processing Real-Time Intelligent Sound Management). PRISM is their sound processing chip which has around double the memory of the previous Phonak chip. PRISM provides users with increased comfort, a greater dynamic range and requires less brain effort to listen, a common issue with hearing aid users.  

The Paradise also uses a ‘Tap Feature’ which alongside the motion sensors make phone calls on the move easier.  The ‘Tap Feature’ allows the user to answer or reject calls, and pause or resume audio streaming, via Siri, Alexa or Google Assistant by simply double tapping on the outer ear. 

Another advance from the Paradise is that it can connect with upto 8 Bluetooth devices to access and switch between whilst allowing two connections to be active at the same time as one another.

The Paradise range does offer both battery and rechargeable options. The rechargeable options do come with a charging case that automatically switches on when they are placed in and switches back off when they are taken out. The rechargeable versions are available for an extra £150 per Hearing Aid.

Phonak CROS/BiCROS

The Phonak Contralateral Routing Of Signal, or CROS system, is available in their latest Paradise technology. The CROS P works by using a transmitter worn on the unaidable ear in combination with a Paradise hearing aid on the other ear. The transmitter sends the sounds that the mic picks up wirelessly with the Paradise hearing aid acting as a receiver in the other ear. This allows you to be able to hear sounds on either side of you and lets you focus on the sounds that are the most important to you. 

As a CROS P wearer you would benefit from full rechargeability as well as the technology built into the Paradise hearing aid. This includes a real ear sound performance and the ability to zoom into a single voice, even in noisy environments to increase your ability to understand speech.

All wireless accessories can be connected and used with the hearing aid on the better ear. If a streaming signal is received by the hearing aid, the signal from CROS is automatically put on hold. The connection to CROS will be automatically re-established when streaming from the accessory is stopped.

Phonak Marvel M90

The Marvel platform is based on a range of technologies working together to provide you with a better sound quality. These technologies recognise and adapt to a wider range of listening environments to ensure that you get a clearer and richer sound experience. 

The Marvel technology works by linking the two hearing aids, giving you the benefit of hearing speech in both ears, making the sounds in your environment more accessible to you.

Phonak Marvel hearing aids stream in real-time between both hearing aids. This improves your experience including your ability to understand speech in loud noise, gives you a truer 360 sound experience and speech understanding. This also reduces the amount of effort your brain needs to use to be able to listen.

Marvel can connect directly to either your iOS, Android or Bluetooth enabled phones to stream high quality audio. This means calls, music and audiobooks are more accessible to you than ever. To aid with taking calls the Marvel has a built-in microphone that picks up your voice and gives you a ‘hands free’ experience.

Aftercare

Richmond Hearing provides free aftercare for the life of the hearing aids, or 5 years, depending on which is reached first.

The Phonak  app allows for Remote Care.  This enables us to programme the Hearing Aid from anywhere in the world by way of a virtual appointment. 

You can make appointments to be seen in our clinics, or home visits can be arranged if required.

Purchases of replacement Batteries, Wax Guards, Domes and Sports Locks for your Hearing Aids are available from Richmond Hearing.
