How It Works
Bernafon’s Encanta has new Smart Sensor technology to offer even better speech understanding in group conversations. It detects head and body movement to automatically adjust directionality and noise reduction to meet your changing listening needs.
Encanta amplifies sound using a unique broadband channel for processing fast modulating signals like speech and music. This keeps the natural patterns of speech intact and preserves the quality of music input.
Powered with 360° awareness, Fixed Omni Directionality, picks up sounds coming from all directions, whether it’s a voice from another room or the doorbell ringing. Whilst the Basic Smart Noise Reduction provides up to 6 dB of noise reduction. This helps improve sound quality and speech clarity in
low-noise environments.
Encanta’s advanced Smart Noise Management system helps you focus on what matters most, the person you’re talking to, not the noise around them. To provide the best possible Signal-to-Noise ratio (SNR) for speech understanding, Encanta combines two sound processing technologies that interact
seamlessly. In the higher technology levels the Smart Noise Management system is supported by a Smart Sensor. This motion sensor technology recognises head and body movements. It uses that information to
adjust the Smart Directionality and Smart Noise Reduction levels to optimise speech understanding in multi-speaker situations.
Accessories
SoundClip-A – The all-rounder for hands-free phone conversations from iPhone® and modern smartphones. It improves communication at a distance and in very noisy environments. You can also use it to change volume and pick up phone calls.
TV-A – This TV box streams the sound from the TV directly to Viron hearing instruments in Dolby Digital Stereo sound quality.
RC-A – The RC-A remote control communicates with Viron hearing instruments using wireless technology and allows for discreet volume and program changes.
EasyControl-A app for mobile phone. The app can be used to regulate volume, change program settings, monitor your battery level and use the helpful “Find my hearing instrument” function.
Aftercare
Richmond Hearing provides free aftercare for the life of the hearing aids, or 5 years, depending on which is reached first.
We can offer you more support now with the Bernafon EasyControl Connect app which allows Remote Care. This enables us to programme the Hearing Aid from anywhere in the world by way of a virtual appointment.
You can make appointments to be seen in our clinics, or home visits can be arranged if required.
Purchases of replacement Batteries, Wax Guards, Domes and Sports Locks for your Hearing Aids are available from Richmond Hearing.
