    The Unitron Blu is available in the rechargeable styles; Moxi B R and the Moxi B RT. On average a charge will provide the user with around 16 hours of wear time.

    The rechargeable versions are available for £150 per Hearing Aid. 

    How It Works

    The Unitron Blu works by combining binaural communication and automatic optimising sound performance to suit your soundscape no matter how complex the environment is with the inbuilt Integra OS technology. 

    The following features work together to offer you a seemless and supportive hearing experience; 

    Automatic Adaptation Manager which provides better speech understanding and overall support from the initial fit by allowing an automatic adaptation of the sounds in your environment.
    Multiband adaptive directionality incorporates a microphone system that tracks and suppresses multiple moving noise sources, while focusing on sounds from the front.

    A Natural Sound Balance is provided by the continuous monitoring of the relationship between the direct sound path and the amplified path and automatically adjusts the hearing instrument output to ensure the sound mixture provides natural sound quality.
    Frequency Compression 2 shifts sounds away from areas where hearing is most damaged and compresses them to provide improved awareness and speech intelligibility.

    Antishock 2 instantly suppresses sudden loud, irritating sounds without affecting speech and sounds you want to hear.

    Noise reduction Adaptive feature that improves listening comfort by decreasing gain / output of the hearing instrument.

    Speech Enhancement Adaptive feature identifies the presence of speech in the listening situation and increases gain. Speech enhancement provides greater enhancement to softer inputs while providing less enhancement as input levels rise, to prevent loudness tolerance issues.
    And log it all which captures 7 different environments regardless of the technology level. 

    Accessories

    The Blu is compatible with an array of accessories to allow you to experience sound from many sources.

    The TV Connector allows you to stream your programmes directly to your Hearing Aids, offering a high standard of sound to enjoy your TV favourites with.

    Unitron’s UStream offers discreet connectivity to wireless devices, like mobile phones, TVs and Bluetooth MP3 players.

    UDirect 3 is a sleek, hands-free accessory to let you enjoy direct connections to communication and entertainment devices, like mobile phones, TVs, FM receivers and MP3 players, with stereo sound and long battery life.

    The UMic is a personal wireless microphone system lets patients hear their companions more easily in challenging listening environments.

    Remote Control 2 allows you to easily change settings at a touch of a button.

    Aftercare

    Richmond Hearing provides free aftercare for the life of the hearing aids, or 5 years, depending on which is reached first.

    The Unitron app allows for Remote Care.  This enables us to programme the Hearing Aid from anywhere in the world by way of a virtual appointment. 

    You can make appointments to be seen in our clinics, or home visits can be arranged if required.

    Purchases of replacement Batteries, Wax Guards, Domes and Sports Locks for your Hearing Aids are available from Richmond Hearing.
