Unitron Tempus 500

Although the Tempus 500 is the lowest performance level of the range it still offers speech enhancement, noise reduction, wind control and a natural sound balance to ensure it offers you support so you can focus on listening in a variety of environments.

Styles

The Unitron Tempus is available in the following styles;

Insera

The Tempus can be used to power any of the following Insera styles; IIC, CIC, Mini Canal, Mini Canal Directional, Canal/Half Shell, Full Shell.

Stride

Stride M, Stride P and Stride P Dura are compatible with the Tempus.

Moxi

These are the Moxi Now, Moxi All, Moxi Fit, Moxi Kiss and Moxi Dura styles.

Max

These two Superpower and Ultra Power styles can also run the Tempus software.

Rechargeable

The Unitron Tempus is available as rechargeable. Fully charged within 7 hours and offering on average 16 hours of use, including 2 hours of phone calls and 5 hours of TV.

The rechargeable versions are available for £150 extra per Aid.

How It Works

One of the main concerns with hearing loss is the inability to hold a conversation. Hearing loss may make you feel like you are a burden on a conversation, unable to keep up, or having to ask for repetitions. This can lead to those suffering hearing loss feeling cut off from the world, or unable to continue a social life. The Tempus Hearing Aids were inspired by the drive to help everyone be able to enjoy conversation. Unitron have used a high-performance platform to empower people during conversation, including those that may take place in environments with high levels of background noise.

Whilst doing its best to ensure that users can enjoy conversations again the Tempus delivers a more realistic sound. The ‘SoundCore’ technology includes the following features to aid your conversations;

‘SoundNav’ to identify and classify incoming sound signals
‘Sound Conductor’ which applies the settings to ensure speech understanding, comfort and a natural sound quality
‘Spatial Awareness’ and ‘SpeechPro’ to let you know the direction that those sound signals are coming from in louder environments

The Tempus range is available in both BTE and ITE styles, including the Moxi All which acts like a Bluetooth headset allowing for connectivity to both Androids and iPhones without the need for extra accessories.

Accessories

The Unitron Tempus is compatible with an array of accessories to allow you to experience sound from many sources.

The TV Connector allows you to stream your programmes directly to your Hearing Aids, offering a high standard of sound to enjoy your TV favourites with.

Unitron’s UStream offers discreet connectivity to wireless devices, like mobile phones, TVs and Bluetooth MP3 players.

UDirect 3 is a sleek, hands-free accessory to let you enjoy direct connections to communication and entertainment devices, like mobile phones, TVs, FM receivers and MP3 players, with stereo sound and long battery life.

The UMic is a personal wireless microphone system lets patients hear their companions more easily in challenging listening environments.

Remote Control 2 allows you to easily change settings at a touch of a button.

Aftercare

Richmond Hearing provides free aftercare for the life of the Hearing Aids

You can make appointments to be seen in our clinics, or home visits can be arranged if required.

Purchases of replacement Batteries, Wax Guards, Domes and Sports Locks for your Hearing Aids are available from Richmond Hearing.
